Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Gastroenterologist to join our team at the Fresno VA Medical Center. As a Gastroenterologist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical and selected specialty services for outpatients, inpatients, and nursing home patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage patients with gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary diseases
  • Provide patient care to veterans in the areas of Gastroenterology in the form of consultative care
  • Perform GI procedures including but not limited to EGD, complex stricture dilation, EGD with PEG, colonoscopies/polypectomy, push enteroscopy, GI manometry, Bravo study and other advanced procedures
  • Oversee the administration of conscious sedation during GI procedures
  • Participate in research and education/training activities
  • Meet the requirements for an academic appointment with the University of California San Francisco @ Fresno Medical Education Program
Requirements
  • Full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory
  • Board certification in Gastroenterology
  • Eligibility for faculty appointment at UCSF, Fresno
