We are seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterologist to join our team at the Veterans Healthcare System. As a Gastroenterologist with our organization, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care while enjoying a great work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive medical and specialty services for outpatients, inpatients, and nursing home patients.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage patients with gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary diseases.
- Perform GI procedures, including EGD, colonoscopies, and other advanced procedures.
- Oversee the administration of conscious sedation during GI procedures.
- Participate in research and education/training activities.
- Meet the requirements for an academic appointment with the University of California San Francisco at Fresno Medical Education Program.
- Full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory.
- Board-Certified Gastroenterologist.
- Competitive salary range: $300,000 to $400,000.
- Annual Performance Bonus: up to $15,000.
- Sign-on Bonus: may be eligible.
- Education Debt Reduction Program: may be eligible for up to $200k in tax-free school loan repayment.
- Comprehensive total rewards package.
- Paid Time Off: 50–55 days per year.
- Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA.
- Federal health, vision, dental, term life, and long-term care insurance.
- CME reimbursement: possible $1,000 per year.

- No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restrictions on moonlighting.
