Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Community Manager to join our team at Grand Peaks. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for assisting the Community Manager in effectively managing the property and assuming their responsibilities in their absence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Training and Development: Assist in training and developing employees to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Resident Records and Communication: Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records, and communicate effectively with residents to ensure their needs are met.
  • Notice Issuance and Rent Collection: Issue notices as necessary, including late payments, evictions, and returned checks, and collect rent and other payments from residents.
  • Reporting and Data Analysis: Prepare and update reports as delegated by the Community Manager, and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Customer Service and Leasing: Greet customers, offer refreshments, and sell property benefits, and perform all leasing functions, including qualifying customers and collecting required paperwork and fees.
  • Phone and Email Management: Answer phones and respond to calls and inquiries from customers, residents, and vendors in a professional and timely manner.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Stay aware of local market trends and conditions, and update the Market Survey monthly.
  • Inspections and Maintenance: Conduct daily inspections of models, vacant units, and the office to ensure readiness, and report service needs to the manager or maintenance team.
  • Resident Retention and Engagement: Plan, budget, organize, and oversee resident retention functions, and develop a comprehensive understanding of residents' needs and preferences.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Create flyers and other promotional materials for resident functions, and update marketing materials to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Community Safety and Security: Monitor and supervise activity in the community, and intervene in situations where residents and/or guests are not following rules.
