Cyber Security Project Manager Job Description

The Cyber Security Department at CyberTec is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead technology projects within the Cyber Security Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in managing complex projects involving multiple departments and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct technical leads and project team members.
  • Develop and maintain project documents, including project charters, management plans, requirements documents, and test plans.
  • Manage project schedules and budgets, and report variances to senior management.
  • Ensure quality and well-maintained project schedules, baselines, and estimates.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Collaborate with SAFe teams to deliver capabilities and maintain PLM artifacts.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
  • At least ten years' experience in project management, with significant hands-on experience in managing complex projects.
  • Experience in technology management, analysis, and administration.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply strong analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated effective communication and writing skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience using MS Project Office Professional and MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Certifications - PMP, CSM, SAFe 5.5/6 related.

Preferred:
  • At least five years' experience with project management of Information Security related projects.
  • At least five years' experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project Server (EPM), etc.
  • Certifications: PMP and InfoSec - Security+, SSCP and/or CISSP.
