Equipment Service Technician

Are you an individual who enjoys global travel? Do you possess the skills to disassemble and reassemble machinery while also training others on its operation? Our client is seeking a Field Service Specialist who can showcase their proficiency in equipment conversion to guarantee the timely and effective delivery of products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the initiation and verification of equipment conversion processes.
- Identify process challenges and communicate them to the Project Leader.
- Conduct line audits, document process modifications, oversee equipment enhancements, and ensure accurate network documentation.
- Provide training and support to the operational team.
- Create a daily task list and coordinate resources with technical services.
- Communicate effectively and professionally, especially in high-pressure situations.
- Recognize and mitigate safety risks while adhering to safe operational practices.
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in electro-mechanical technology, engineering technology, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment conversion initiation and process enhancement is preferred.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 50% annually.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with engineering and manufacturing teams, as well as customers regarding startup and process improvement matters.
- Experience with hand and power tools, including tachometers, strobe lights, temperature probes, high-speed cameras, balers, and calipers.
- Proficient in operating lathes, drill presses, and welding equipment. Forklift certification is required.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 software.
