Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Claims Analyst to join our team at AIG. As a key member of our Claims department, you will be responsible for handling complex claims and providing expert advice to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of high-value, complex claims from coverage inquiry through legal liability assessment and quantum analysis to timely and accurate resolution.
  • Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, brokers, and vendors, to ensure effective claim resolution.
  • Act as a deputy for the Team Manager and provide training and technical support to colleagues.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in Claims by supporting Quality Assurance and Regional Audit processes.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements for Casualty Claims.
  • Experience in negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and ADR skills on higher-value complex claims.
  • Policy language skills enabling accurate and consistent policy wording interpretation.
  • A track record of following up effectively on recommendations from technical claims audits and continuous file handling improvement.
  • The ability to influence claims and non-claims stakeholders to effectively direct claims strategy.
  • The ability to assist with technical training to the team's claim handlers as required.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary range of $80,000-$105,000.
  • A bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
