Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Meat Department Associate to join our team. As a key member of our meat department, you'll play a vital role in helping customers and assisting in product receiving, inventory, and storage. You'll also be responsible for maintaining safety and sanitation standards in all meat product areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive deliveries, break down loads, and rotate cooler stock
  • Weigh, price, and label products
  • Stock cases and select products for display
  • Prepare valued-added products for customers
  • Provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge
  • Ensure sanitation and food safety standards are met
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management
Requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to read, communicate, and understand company policies and safety regulations
  • Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements for the position
  • Must be able to work in a cold environment
Physical Requirements
  • Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending on business needs
  • Job cycles: continual maximum
  • Lift/carry: 50 lbs.
  • Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45%
