Role Overview
The Closing/Escrow Manager will oversee the closing and escrow team, ensuring the efficient tracking and reporting of all active escrows. This role includes preparing sales reports and escrow flow charts for dissemination, as well as reviewing and preparing individual lot escrow instructions.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, and manage the workload of closing associates.
- Coordinate and schedule New Home Orientation (NHO) and settlement dates with production teams.
- Process closing instructions for submission to title and mortgage companies.
- Address settlement closing inquiries and issues promptly.
- Maintain daily settlement projections and monthly backlog reports.
- Update mortgage statuses and communicate with lenders.
- Ensure accurate updates in reporting systems.
- Review and sign seller documents for settlements.
- Maintain and update the closing calendar.
- Generate reports for weekly distribution to various stakeholders.
- Prepare settlement notification letters for buyers.
- Manage HUD approvals and track temporary use and occupancy permits.
- Ensure accuracy in the execution of contracts and closing documentation.
- Assist with additional projects as required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in mortgage and title processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and JD Edwards.
- Ability to manage multiple detailed tasks with concurrent deadlines.
- Strong writing and organizational skills.
- Exhibit a strong work ethic, integrity, and loyalty.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to perform well under pressure.

Physical Requirements

Compensation Overview
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $66,000 to $107,886 annually, subject to adjustments based on qualifications and operational considerations. This position may also be eligible for bonuses and commissions, along with the benefits outlined above.
