Job Overview

Position Summary:

The individual in this role will be accountable for various tasks related to the loading of finished goods and the unloading of raw materials within the Logistics sector of Waterfront Brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols, procedures, and regulations while actively contributing suggestions for ongoing safety enhancements.
  • Efficiently operate a forklift to facilitate loading and unloading processes.
  • Ensure quality control measures are consistently maintained.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in reading and utilizing a tape measure accurately.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment by following established procedures and regulations.
  • Load completed products for distribution to clients and vendors.
  • Unload incoming materials intended for production.
  • Participate in final packaging processes, including palletizing, stacking, bundling, and constructing crates.
  • Keep the loading area clean and orderly.
  • Develop familiarity with various product lines and loading techniques, including the appropriate use of stacks, bundles, pallets, crates, or gaylord boxes.
  • Exhibit regular and dependable attendance.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily, weekly, and monthly objectives.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • May perform general labor tasks or other assigned duties during slower periods.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Possession of forklift certification.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.

Working Environment:

This position requires working in various weather conditions and may involve extended work hours with minimal notice.
