Terracon is seeking an experienced leader to oversee the Commercial sector, one of our most established and large-revenue sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering consulting, preferably in geotechnical, environmental, construction materials, or facility management.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the overall direction and success of the Commercial Sector, focusing on safe and profitable growth.
- Mentor and lead sector staff to achieve their roles and objectives.
- Track and report key market information, facilitate strategy meetings, and determine key performance indicators.
- Partner with operations and service lines to build and support operational teams.
- Lead national business development efforts, consistent with the company's strategic plan.
- Oversee the development of new national accounts and drive key client relationships.
- Provide planning recommendations for Terracon's operational divisions.
- Develop and oversee the annual sector budget.
- Drive the sales of Terracon's innovation products to enhance client experience and differentiate Terracon in the market.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, geology, architecture, or building science, or 20 years of related experience.
- Professional License in area of specialty or discipline (if available).
- Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
