About Friedman Management

Friedman Management, a prominent player in the full-service real estate sector, is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Financing Specialist to identify, originate, structure, and finalize commercial real estate financing transactions across the nation. The ideal candidate will possess a background in commercial real estate finance, banking sales, or servicing, and is eager to advance their career by building their own portfolio of real estate business. This role will involve close collaboration with company executives, the head of the commercial mortgage division, and other key stakeholders. The compensation structure is commission-based, offering significant earning potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Originate, structure, and close commercial real estate financing transactions.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships within the real estate community, focusing on developers, property owners, and third-party origination sources.
  • Pre-screen and qualify transactions prior to the underwriting and marketing phases.
  • Review offering memoranda and assess transactions on a case-by-case basis, preparing underwriting presentations.
  • Collaborate with capital sources to secure optimal transaction terms for clients.
  • Utilize credit analysis skills to identify transaction strengths and weaknesses, developing structural features to mitigate risks.
  • Build and maintain relationships with capital sources to ensure superior transaction execution.
  • Partner with real estate investment sales agents to present business opportunities and secure financing options.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in capital markets with a brokerage, investment bank, or principal.
  • Demonstrated success in originating, underwriting, and structuring commercial real estate debt and equity.
  • Ability to effectively transfer key relationships to the organization.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative approach that fosters a collegial environment to achieve corporate goals.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a large brokerage setting.
  • Capacity to represent clients and business partners effectively.
  • Creative thinker with the focus, energy, and leadership qualities to drive business success.
  • History of developing both client-centric and internal relationships.
  • Well-rounded professional with high personal integrity, sound judgment, and discretion.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Bachelor's degree recommended, preferably in Real Estate, Finance, or Economics.
