Job Overview

Trachte, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, analyzing general ledger account variances, and developing and maintaining standard recurring Journal Entries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting of financial transactions.
  • Assist in the research and analysis of general ledger account variances.
  • Develop and maintain standard recurring Journal Entries.
  • Prepare and review assigned month-end account reconciliations accurately and on a timely basis.
  • Act as a business partner to drive resolution of reconciling items.
  • Provide proactive analysis and support to the finance team and functional leadership.
  • Maintenance of Sarbanes Oxley documentation.
  • Coordinate internal and external audit activities.
  • Prepare Ad Hoc data requests and project work as requested.
  • Support the execution and application of technical accounting principles.
  • Interaction with key segment business partners.
  • Back-up others as needed in the primary accounting center environment to help with workloads as appropriate and to ensure work is completed timely and accurately.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required.
  • 3+ years accounting experience. CPA or CMA is preferred but not required.
  • Manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience with INFOR M3 or a similar ERP software package.
  • Experience with OneStream a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Continuous improvement mentality and desire to enhance business processes.
  • Ability to work and interact with various departments throughout the organization.
  • The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from individuals at all levels of the Organization.
  • The ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Display flexibility in regard to overtime during periods of peak activity.
  • Be a team player, a self-starter who is looking to grow professionally, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
