Position Overview

We are in search of an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager with extensive expertise in power electronics, low and medium voltage systems, and microelectronics, including circuit board design. The successful candidate will possess a strong foundation in electrical system design and analysis, particularly in power electronics and energy storage solutions.

Key Qualifications

  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant engineering field
  • Over 10 years of professional experience in electrical engineering
  • A minimum of 2 years in a leadership role managing engineering teams
  • Expertise in power electronics, microelectronics, or a combination of both
  • Experience with electric motors or generators
  • Comprehensive understanding of AC and DC electrical systems
  • Experience in photovoltaic power generation is advantageous
  • Ability to specify components for electrical systems, including cables and connectors

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the electrical engineering team
  • Manage relationships with electrical vendors
  • Lead the design and development of generators and electronic systems across various scales
  • Ensure effective program reporting
  • Coordinate multiple engineering programs

Compensation

The salary range for this position reflects Verterra Energy's current good-faith pay scale. We reserve the right to adjust this range as necessary. Compensation is just one aspect of our comprehensive total rewards package.

Annual Salary Range: $150,000 - $250,000 USD
