We are seeking a highly skilled Generator & Motor Design Engineer to join our team at Verterra Energy. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and analyzing electrical generator and motor machinery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical generator and motor machinery
  • Conduct finite element analysis for structural, thermal, and electromagnetic systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new technologies
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in electrical motor and generator technologies

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of industry experience in electrical motors, generators, and magnetic machinery
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Working knowledge of finite element analysis applications
  • Ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop creative solutions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
