Job Summary:

OXARC, Inc. is a leading provider of welding and industrial supplies, as well as medical and specialty gases. We are seeking a highly skilled Welding Sales Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build relationships with existing customers to increase sales of large capital welding products and services.
  • Act as an expert in welding processes, applications, and economics to provide product and application training to customers.
  • Work closely with Outside Sales to uncover opportunities within existing and prospective customers.
  • Demonstrate products to new account customers.
Requirements:
  • Associate Degree in Welding (AAS), Military weld training, or Bachelor's degree in Weld Engineering preferred.
  • CWI or CWE certification preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience in the welding industry (preferred).
  • 3+ years' sales experience in a relevant field or industry (preferred).
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and basic customer service experience.
  • Must be organized, have good reasoning skills, math aptitude, and time management skills.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet use.
  • Valid Driver's License with good driving record.
