KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Client Relations Specialist, you will serve as the main point of contact for our valued customers, dedicated to nurturing and enhancing customer relationships through outstanding service.

In this role, you will be part of a collaborative team, acting as the first line of communication for all customer inquiries. Your responsibilities will include engaging with customers in various settings, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions while efficiently processing standard banking transactions. You will ensure that customer concerns are addressed promptly and refer them to the appropriate banker for further assistance. Additionally, you will take an active role in your own professional development by seeking feedback and training opportunities as necessary. Compliance with regulatory standards and internal audit requirements will be a critical aspect of your responsibilities.

CUSTOMER SERVICE EXCELLENCE

- Deliver exceptional customer service consistently, maintaining a professional demeanor and treating all clients with respect and dignity.

- Build and maintain customer relationships through attentive listening and effective profiling, utilizing a structured approach to meet customer needs.

- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and follow through on commitments to ensure complete satisfaction. Engage in follow-up discussions to confirm that customer expectations have been met.

OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Ensure the accurate handling of customer transactions, demonstrating attention to detail and accountability for each interaction while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.

- Contribute to a quality-focused environment for both internal and external customers, collaborating with your team to achieve daily operational goals.

- Proactively safeguard Glacier Bancorp and its clients against fraudulent activities by staying informed about potential risks and discussing relevant transactions with customers to prevent losses.

- Take responsibility for resolving issues until customer satisfaction is achieved, keeping management informed and escalating matters when necessary.

- Follow up with internal teams to ensure that customer issues are resolved comprehensively and that customers are kept informed throughout the process.

- Share insights and concerns regarding processes and systems with the Lead Client Relations Specialist, offering suggestions for improvements.

About You

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

- High School diploma or equivalent.

- Minimum of 6 months experience in a customer service role.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Capable of working quickly and accurately.
  • Proficient in understanding and following both written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of computer systems and keyboarding.
  • Aptitude for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues and the public.
  • Ability to utilize various tools and equipment as required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to work indoors in a climate-controlled environment with moderate noise levels.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to operate standard office equipment, including computers, telephones, and copiers. The role requires routine computer use for 6-8 hours daily.
  • Ability to lift up to fifteen pounds occasionally.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods.
