The Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction and operation of our solar projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Construction Project Management
  • Supervising contractors and ensuring that work is performed in accordance with technical requirements and contractual procedures.
  • Reviewing plans and specifications to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
  • Acting as the primary contact with EPCs, suppliers, and property owners to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Preparing and circulating Requests for Proposals to obtain EPC bids for new projects.
  • Reviewing and approving Change Orders, Pay Applications, lien waivers, and other project-related documents.
  • Monitoring weekly progress reports to identify issues and take corrective action to remedy them.
Solar Asset Management
  • Monitoring and driving solar project operational performance by working closely with our third-party maintenance providers.
  • Ensuring compliance with key project contracts, including PPAs, IAs, Lease, Finance, O&M, and other agreements.
  • Producing monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports.
  • Maintaining and growing good relations with all contract parties.
Requirements

We are seeking an individual with experience in solar project management, including an understanding of PV system construction, operation, and key commercial terms. The ideal candidate will be:

  • Extremely detail-oriented and able to establish and follow processes.
  • Driven and self-motivated with a passion for excellence.
  • Willing to work extended hours as needed.
  • Familiar with PV system design, operation, and key commercial and business drivers.
  • Able to read and comprehend equipment/facility schematics.
  • Experienced in utilizing PMP tools.
  • Proficient in all MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Highly motivated and career-driven.
Benefits

The expected salary for this position is between $100,000 and $150,000 per year, depending on individual factors. The total compensation package may also include an annual bonus, medical, dental, vision, life, financial, and other benefits, including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off.
