Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the textbook cycle from setup to returns, utilizing department-specific technology to answer customer questions and provide recommendations.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all departments in the store to provide daily support and guidance to customers and team members.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase adoptions, rentals, and digital sales, while ensuring timely execution of our textbook timeline.
  • Drive team performance to create customer experiences that enhance bookstore loyalty and deliver measurable results.
  • Process sales transactions, including cash, credit, and financial aid payments, as needed.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience in a retail setting as a manager or buyer, or a graduate of our Best Seller Program.
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to match customers to products that meet their needs.
  • Basic reading, writing, and accounting skills required.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
