Position Title: Field Installation Technician

Location: Northern California

The Field Installation Technician plays a crucial role in supporting the deployment of our products at client locations. This position involves collaborating with a Development Group, Inc. employee on-site and may require travel to various client locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the installation and removal of equipment following established procedures and best practices.
  • Prepare equipment for installation by unboxing, staging for configuration and testing, and ensuring proper re-packaging for shipment.
  • Document and monitor installed equipment using company standards and tools.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are accounted for and maintained in good condition.
  • Maintain a tidy work environment by organizing tools and securing the job site daily to mitigate hazards.

Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • A High School Diploma is preferred, although not mandatory.
  • Experience in installation or construction is advantageous.
  • Physical stamina, hand-eye coordination, and endurance are essential.

Skills:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office and internet usage.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to focus on tasks effectively.
  • Excellent documentation skills for case management and knowledge retention.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members across various levels of the organization.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 75% of the time, including overnight stays.
  • Capability to handle administrative tasks such as reports and expense documentation.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor in all situations.

Additional Information:

Compensation: Starting pay is $17 per hour for temporary installation technicians, negotiable based on experience.
