Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled HVAC Installation Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring our installation technicians to ensure the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor installation technicians to ensure the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction
  • Install and replace HVAC equipment, including ductwork, attic and/or vertical splits, rooftop package units, and other related components
  • Maintain good working order of company vehicles and ensure proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment are available
  • Travel to job sites in the service area and work with dispatch to ensure schedules are maintained and delays are properly communicated to customers
  • Design duct systems for optimal comfort and efficiency
  • Engage with customers to understand their concerns and interests regarding their AC systems, leading to potential accessory sales or new system replacements
  • Understand company pricing programs and generate customer invoices and other paperwork at the job site and electronically process credit card payments
  • Participate in company-provided training opportunities on customer service and the latest industry technologies
  • Work with apprentices and entry-level installers to coach and mentor
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in refrigeration function and theory, with the ability to diagnose and perform replacement of HVAC related components
  • Universal EPA 608 Certification
  • Excellent customer service skills with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations
  • Minimum tool requirements: basic hand tools, wrenches, screwdrivers, sheet metal/duct tools, and hammers
  • Minimum testing equipment usage: refrigerant gauges, manometer, magnahelic, C/O detector, psychrometer, and micron gauge
  • Working knowledge of city codes
  • Ability to work independently in a timely manner, ensuring jobs are completed correctly the first time
  • Ability to crawl in tight spaces and climb ladders, work in attics, garages, crawl spaces, and on roofs
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and a criminal background check upon acceptance of an offer letter
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record and 5+ years of driving experience
