Payroll Analyst Job Description

At Analytic Partners, we're seeking a highly skilled Payroll Analyst to join our team. As a Payroll Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll processes across various regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and coordinate daily payroll operations for all regions, working closely with third-party providers and internal teams to deliver accurate and timely pay.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employees and external vendor partners to resolve payroll and tax-related issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Prepare international payroll, setting up payroll processes in different countries, ensuring compliance with local laws, forecasting payroll needs, and assisting with implementations.
  • Prepare and analyze regular management reports, including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports, covering gross payroll, hours worked, vacation accrual, tax deductions, and benefit deductions.
  • Partner with HR to ensure all payroll-related activities are managed correctly.
  • Identify opportunities to automate current processes and implement effective controls to drive efficiency and streamline the payroll process.
  • Protect the organization's value by maintaining confidentiality.
  • Develop ad-hoc financial and operational reporting as needed.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as requested by management.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with payroll systems, with a preference for Rippling and CloudPay.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, HR, or a related discipline.
  • 1+ years of payroll experience in the US, EMEA, and APAC regions.
  • Excel knowledge, with demonstrated expertise in pivot tables, formulas, shortcut keys, and other advanced Excel tools and functions.
  • Knowledge of withholding tax, related tax filings, tax policy, and employment regulations as they relate to reporting in the United States.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret payroll data.
