Job Summary

Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Richmond is seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with a $2,000 sign-on bonus. The CNA will assist residents in all aspects of their daily life, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, activities, orientation, and information needs.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with personal care, food service, and housekeeping tasks
  • Manage behavior and provide socialization and activities for residents
  • Provide information and support to residents and families
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure resident satisfaction
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic reading and writing skills, and ability to speak English in an understandable manner
  • Knowledge and experience in working with elderly, with previous dementia experience preferred
  • Certification required according to state regulations
Physical Demands

The CNA will be required to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods, and will need to push and pull objects and lift and carry up to 50 pounds, unassisted, on a frequent basis.
