Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Richmond. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional care to our residents.

Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant will assist residents in all aspects of their daily life, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, activities, orientation, and information needs. This role requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism due to the constant interaction with residents and families.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide food service and ensure residents' dietary needs are met
  • Perform housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a clean and comfortable environment
  • Manage behavior and provide socialization opportunities for residents
  • Participate in activities and events to promote resident engagement and well-being
  • Assist with orientation and provide information to residents and families
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic reading and writing skills, and ability to speak English in an understandable manner
  • Knowledge and experience in working with elderly; Previous dementia experience preferred
  • Certification required according to state regulations; Must successfully complete the required Springhouse's/Arden Courts' training
