Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

ProMedica is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Arden Courts Memory Care in Richmond, VA. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant will assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, food service, and housekeeping. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide food and beverage services, including meal preparation and serving
  • Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning and laundry
  • Assist with behavior management and socialization activities
  • Document resident care and services provided
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic reading and writing skills, and ability to speak English in an understandable manner
  • Knowledge and experience in working with elderly, with previous dementia experience preferred
  • Certification required according to state regulations
