Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

ProMedica is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Richmond. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, food service, and housekeeping.
  • Provide emotional support and socialization to residents, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
  • Participate in behavior management and orientation programs to ensure residents' needs are met.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement resident service plans.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic reading and writing skills, and ability to speak English in an understandable manner.
  • Knowledge and experience in working with elderly, with previous dementia experience preferred.
  • Certification required according to state regulations, and must successfully complete required training.
Physical Demands:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods; ability to push and pull objects and lift and carry up to 50 pounds, unassisted, on a frequent basis.
