The Financial Representative is responsible for meeting the middle-income client needs for risk protection, financial security, and wealth creation. This role involves educating clients, analyzing their needs, and recommending solutions in an ethical and client-focused manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify target markets and develop effective marketing strategies.
- Prospect and network with middle-market clients to identify qualified leads and make initial contacts.
- Secure appointments with prospective and existing clients to discuss sales, conservation, and service opportunities.
- Prepare thoroughly for all appointments using established processes and consultative practices.
- Effectively sell insurance and investment solutions to clients.
- Plan and schedule sales, marketing, and service activities for the week and foreseeable future.
- Market the Western & Southern Life brand at the local level to develop community relationships and strengthen presence in target markets.
- Maintain personal contact with clients to ensure their evolving financial needs are being met.
- Engage in continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Accurately maintain client and company records, payments, and other relevant information.
- High level of integrity and strong work ethic.
- Strong interpersonal, relationship, and influence skills.
- Effective communication skills, including listening, speaking, and writing.
- Ability to analyze client needs, understand financial products, and sell tailored solutions.
- Ability to influence others to take needed action.
- Demonstrate personal drive and resilience to achieve goals.
- Willingness to network for new clients and maintain existing relationships.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Working knowledge of internet and email.
- State Life and Health license prior to hire.
- FINRA SIE, Series 6, and Series 63 certifications within one year of employment.
- Access to an automobile and ability to maintain a valid driver's license.
