Job Summary

Banc of California is seeking a highly skilled Senior Loan Servicing Processor to join our team. As a key member of our servicing operations, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing loan records, collateral tracking, and insurance activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform loan and insurance research, and process document retrieval service requests.
  • Respond to customer and employee inquiries, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Work closely with internal partners, vendors, and clients to ensure proper insurance documents are received and maintained.
  • Provide oversight and support in insurance tracking performed by a 3rd party vendor.
  • Ensure tax, escrow, and insurance transactions are processed timely and accurately.
  • Notify Relationship Managers of all force-placed insurance and work with the Business unit to address and resolve gaps in post-closing insurance requirements.
  • Perform post-close flood insurance monitoring, working in partnership with the Compliance Group to ensure all regulatory flood requirements are being met.
  • Control and maintain documents through validation, imaging, and filing of all loan-related documents.
  • Provide effective customer service and assist in resolving problems within given authority.
  • Support all assigned areas of the department where service or assistance is needed, and act as a backup for various records/loan positions and functions.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and adherence to state and federal regulations and laws as they pertain to this position.
  • Expert-level work experience, knowledge, and training in loan servicing, records, and insurance activities and terminology.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations, and other Bank lending policies governing lending.
  • Superior skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation, mainframe computer system, word processing, spreadsheet, and specialty software programs.
  • Intermediate typing skills to meet production needs of the position.
  • Intermediate math skills, including calculating interest and percentages, balancing accounts, and performing routine mathematical errors.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of related experience/training in loan records, servicing, and insurance within the financial services industry.
Salary Range

$61,000.00 - $100,000.00 USD; Final salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with geographic/market data.
