About the Role

D.R. Horton, Inc., a leading homebuilder in the U.S., is seeking a skilled Loan Processor to join its Branch Department. As a Loan Processor, you will play a critical role in processing mortgage loans and providing exceptional customer service to our builders and homebuyers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the receipt of loan files from Loan Officers and ensure timely processing and approval.
  • Review files for accuracy and completeness, making necessary changes and updates to the computer system.
  • Submit files to DHI Underwriters and review conditions, making any necessary adjustments to the system.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records, including Loan Processor, Project to Close, and Timeline Exception reports.
  • Communicate effectively with Loan Officers, Underwriters, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless loan processing.
  • Reconcile Fee Summary Sheets and maintain accurate communication logs.
Requirements
  • One-year certificate from college or technical school.
  • Three to six months of related experience and/or training.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and email.
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently process and record large amounts of data.
