Job Summary

The Patient Care Director of Neurology and Sleep Services will oversee the daily operations of a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, cost-effective care. This role will work in a collaborative leadership structure with the Associate Medical Director for the Neurology, EEG, and Sleep Clinic departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Manage the operations of CNI ambulatory clinics, including Neurology, EEG, and Sleep Clinic
    • Ensure standards of care and quality of services are provided in accordance with organizational goals and priorities
    • Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure adequate training and competency
  • Financial Management
    • Determine fiscal requirements and prepare an annual budget for the department(s)
    • Monitor, verify, and reconcile expenditures and revenues
    • Collaborate with internal resources to prepare and analyze financial proformas as needed
  • Quality and Compliance
    • Collaborate with regulatory, compliance, and infection prevention staff to ensure compliant operations
    • Promote safe, high-quality care processes
    • Communicate with leadership and staff to support workplace engagement
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration
    • Collaborate with internal and external parties to maintain, develop, and advance program initiatives
    • Support the development and implementation of new service lines, efficiency improvements, and pain contract development
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field
    • Master's degree in Health Administration or a related field
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Registered Nurse (RN) License
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year of hire
  • Experience
    • Completion of a healthcare leadership fellowship
    • One (1) year of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Practice Management (PM) systems
    • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
    • Budgetary experience in the management of fiscal data
    • Interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients, families, staff, and physicians
    • Analytical skills sufficient to gather and interpret data in a variety of situations
