About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled pharmacist to lead and direct our pharmacy operations. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our pharmacy by providing exceptional leadership, guidance, and direction to our pharmacy technicians.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of this role include:

Safety and Quality Assurance

You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and quality care in our pharmacy, including:

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient medication and treatment plans
  • Monitoring and reporting any adverse reactions or side effects associated with medications

Leadership and Development

You will also provide guidance and development opportunities to our pharmacy support staff, including:

  • Providing training and coaching on pharmacy procedures and best practices
  • Mentoring and supporting the development of our pharmacy technicians

Business Development and Operations

In addition to your clinical and leadership responsibilities, you will also be expected to contribute to the growth and improvement of our pharmacy operations, including:

  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborating with our operations team to develop and implement business strategies and plans

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

Certifications/Qualifications:

  • Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed
  • Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (i.e. APhA)
Education:
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree
Salary:
$62,000 - $75,000 per year
