Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Sourcing and Recruitment: Directly responsible for the entire non-exempt (hourly) recruiting and training processes, including sourcing, screening, recruiting, and onboarding.
  • Pre-Employment Process: Conduct and coordinate pre-employment processes, including drug screens, background checks, and E-Verify, as well as new hire onboarding, including benefit orientation.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Manage and ensure compliance with Affirmative Action Plans (AAP) and update Personnel Activity Logs (PAL).
  • Job Posting and Management: Post all open positions internally and externally, including Applicant Pro internet and Fresh Express locations.
  • HRIS Management: Enter new hire information and maintain the Workday (HRIS) system.
  • Employee Referral Program: Execute employee referral programs.
  • Pre-Employment Compliance: Responsible for ensuring compliance with the overall pre-employment I-9, E-Verify, E-Screen, and Background Check compliance process.
  • Employee Engagement: Participate in routine walk-throughs of production floors for employee engagement.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bilingual English/Spanish: Bilingual English/Spanish language skills are required.
  • Computer Literacy: Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and Workday.
  • Knowledge of Affirmative Action Plans and Employment Law: Knowledge of Affirmative Action Plans and Employment Law is required.
  • HR Process Administration: Ability to administer HR processes, policies, and procedures.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous Experience in Union Environment: Previous experience working in a Union environment is desired.
  • HRIS Experience: Experience with AS400, Kronos, Ceridian, or Workday is desired.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma: High school diploma is required.
  • Associates Degree or Equivalent Experience: Associates degree in a related field or equivalent experience is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 1-Year Recruiting Experience: Minimum of 1-year recruiting experience, preferably in an HR/production environment, is required.
