Position Overview:
We are in search of a dedicated hospitality professional with a strong service orientation and a thorough understanding of guest experiences for the role of Beverage Service Specialist.
This role is essential in ensuring that all patrons receive an exceptional experience while being served in a Five Star manner.
The primary responsibilities of the Beverage Service Specialist include, but are not limited to:
- Welcoming and seating guests promptly, presenting menus, making meal recommendations, and addressing inquiries regarding meal preparation.
- Accurately taking orders and processing payments, adhering to cash handling protocols, and maintaining a balanced cash bank.
- Serving orders promptly and professionally, ensuring proper presentation and garnishing before serving.
- Regularly checking on guests' needs throughout the dining area, assisting with table clearing, and refilling beverages as necessary.
- Possessing comprehensive knowledge of all menu items, including preparation methods and daily availability.
- Completing side tasks such as polishing silverware, stocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness as directed by management.
- Reporting all gratuities received daily and documenting them appropriately.
- Ensuring compliance with alcohol service regulations and promptly notifying management of any guest-related incidents.
- Assisting with room service and bar duties as required.
- Being able to carry trays and lift items weighing up to 30 pounds, and standing for extended periods.
- Understanding emergency and safety protocols and adhering to key control procedures.
- Delivering the highest quality of service to guests consistently and embodying the hotel's service standards.
- Adhering to the uniform and appearance guidelines set forth by the hotel.
- Performing additional duties as assigned by management.
