Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Planning and Design to join our team at Providence Health & Services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the planning and design phases of all capital projects in your assigned division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement market and site-specific planning strategies with senior leadership across select ministries.
  • Manage vendor contracts to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Partner with strategic planning teams to achieve strategic objectives involving the built environment.
  • Manage long-range market and site-specific master planning efforts.
  • Provide continuous feedback to executive sponsors and senior leadership regarding project status.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Architecture, Business, or Healthcare Administration.
  • 8 years of experience in architecture and design, with a portion in the healthcare industry.
  • 6 years of management or leadership experience.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
