Key Responsibilities:- Floor Care & Trash Removal: Mop and maintain floors throughout the facility, collect and properly dispose of all trash.
- Surface Cleaning & Dusting: Dust and clean surfaces, including furniture, equipment, and decorative items, clean interior windows and keep the staff lounge tidy.
- Restroom Maintenance: Regularly clean and disinfect restrooms, ensure restrooms are fully stocked with necessary supplies and promptly address any plumbing issues.
- Patient Treatment Area Disinfection: Disinfect high-touch areas in patient treatment rooms using EPA-registered disinfectants, pay special attention to frequently touched items like patient chairs, armrests, X-ray equipment, drawer handles, and door knobs.
- Reception Area Organization: Maintain a clean, uncluttered reception area to create a positive first impression for patients, keep furniture in good condition, store files appropriately, and ensure magazines and entertainment materials are neatly displayed.
- Adherence to Industry Standards: Follow disinfection procedures aligned with OSHA and CDC guidelines to minimize the risk of infections and ensure the safety of both patients and staff.
Requirements:
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred, especially in a medical or dental setting.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during overnight hours.
- Familiarity with OSHA and CDC guidelines is a plus.
