Responsibilities
  • Front of House/Service

    • Greet customers, take food and beverage orders, expedite orders, and assist with dining room service.
    • Properly operate the point-of-sale system for taking customer orders.

    • Answer the phone and assist customers with questions and information.
    • Interact with customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
    • Restock drink stations and expo areas, maintain restroom cleanliness, empty trash cans, and help keep the dining room and other customer areas clean.
    • Maintain proper product temperatures and portion control.
    • Clean equipment thoroughly and in a timely fashion.
    • Keep the floor in the work or service area clean and free of debris.
  • Sandwich Line
    • Adhere to brand standards for uniform appearance and personal grooming.
    • Complete duties on opening and closing prep and checklists.
    • Refer to the daily prep list at the start of each shift for assigned duties.
    • Prepare a variety of food products, including chicken salads, pimento cheese, side salads, soups, sauces, cookies, desserts, and other items for cooking and serving to customers.
    • Understand and comply consistently with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
    • Prepare all customer orders with strict adherence to quality, portioning, and appearance standards.
    • Prepare all food products in accordance with standard portion sizes and recipe specifications.
    • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation, including tables, shelves, walls, steamer, sandwich line, and refrigeration equipment.
    • Closing the line kitchen properly, following the closing checklist for the line kitchen, and assisting others in closing the kitchen.
    • Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement.
    • Promptly report equipment and food quality problems to management.
    • Inform management immediately of product shortages.
    • Use standard recipe cards for preparing all products.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

    • Effective written and oral communication skills.
    • Restaurant experience is a plus but not required.
    • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility, including bending and stooping, for the duration of the workday.
    • Must be able to lift or carry 40 pounds.
