Cafe Associate

Job Summary:

As a Cafe Associate at Sam's Club, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality food products are prepared and served to our members. Your passion for food preparation and commitment to excellence will make you a valuable asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation: Prepare food according to item specifications, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation guidelines.
• Customer Service: Provide fast and friendly service to our members, listening to their needs and addressing any concerns.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications and educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources.
• Inventory Management: Ensure shelves are clean, maintain temperature control, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lesser-quality food products.
• Equipment Maintenance: Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment to ensure efficient food preparation and service.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Service experience preferred.
• Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) - Certification.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
