Aircraft Maintenance Technician Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team at Breeze Airways. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for leading and directing the work of other technicians, ensuring that all maintenance duties are performed in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities- Assign and direct the work of maintenance technicians
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company policies
- Lead and participate in the performance of maintenance duties
- Communicate with Maintenance Operations Control regarding aircraft status
- Complete all necessary documentation and forms
- Properly handle and maintain aircraft and tools
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment
- Notify supervisors of any airworthiness issues
- Maintain a valid Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current, valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P)
- 5+ years of aviation maintenance experience
- Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals
- Valid driver's license and passport
- Authorization to work in the US
- Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and overtime
- Ability to travel 20% of the time
- Understanding of FAA regulations and FAR part 121 operations
- Experience maintaining Airbus A220 and Embraer E-Jet family aircraft
- Familiarity with airline Maintenance Information Systems (MIS)
- Degree in Aerospace, Aviation Maintenance, or Business
