Job Summary

The Enterprise Risk Coordinator is a key member of the Enterprise Risk Division, responsible for coordinating various programs and departmental activities. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Division operational activities, providing administrative support to ERM leadership.
  • Manage Division strategic initiatives, reports, tracking, risk analyses, audits, research, and training.
  • Assist in the development, execution, and maintenance of the ERM Program and related Division management systems.
  • Support the Enterprise Risk Management Committee (ERMC), Audit Committee, and Board of Directors with custom reports and data analysis.
  • Collaborate with team members to communicate and develop mitigation strategies to address risks identified in assessments.
  • Provide support in gathering requested documentation for audits and regulatory exams.
  • Administer the Corporate Insurance Program and act as the point of contact for ad hoc insurance requests.
  • Act as the administrator of the Enterprise Risk governance and risk assessment systems.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience required.
  • Previous financial industry and customer service experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as risk management, audit, business, finance, accounting, or other related area.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in financial institutions in the enterprise risk management area or similar background required.
  • Relevant risk management certifications or credentials preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and risk management software.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Detail oriented, good organizational skills, and the ability to be flexible while working in a time-constrained environment.
  • Proven ability to work with and motivate others.
  • Professional conduct and appearance.
  • Effective interpersonal skills in order to maintain positive and productive working relationships with staff and management at all levels of the organization.
  • Possess strong research, investigative, and analytical skills.

Computer Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) or experience of database systems and business analytical reporting.
  • Must be proficient in technology applications including the Credit Union's operating system and specialized software required for performance of position.
  • Knowledge of systems for managing enterprise risk functions, risk management methodologies, and frameworks such as COSO.
  • Experience with data analysis and corresponding software.
Mathematical Skills
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rates, ratios and percentages and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Work Environment

This position may qualify as Remote or Hybrid with a home base at one of Wescom's offices. The Remote or Hybrid status may be discontinued by Wescom in its sole discretion at any time and for any reason or no reason, with or without notice by Wescom or Employee.
