Education Coordinator Opportunity at LeMay Americas Car Museum

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Education Coordinator to join our team at LeMay Americas Car Museum. As a key member of our education department, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing engaging educational programs for visitors of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement educational programs, including school, youth, and adult programs, as well as scout and family activities.
  • Collaborate with museum staff to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
  • Design and deliver educational materials, including lesson plans and curriculum guides.
  • Provide excellent customer service to visitors and respond to their educational needs.
  • Work closely with the education team to plan and execute educational events and programs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Museum Studies, History, Science, or a related field.
  • At least two years of professional experience in education, preferably in a museum setting.
  • Experience creating curriculum and lesson plans, as well as facilitating classes and workshops.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
