Job Summary

The Program Coordinator position at Puget Sound Educational Service District (PSESD) is a critical role in supporting the delivery of high-quality early childhood education programs. This position will work closely with program staff, administrators, and community partners to ensure the success of program activities and action plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with program staff and administrators to develop and implement program plans and activities.
  • Monitor program standards and ensure compliance with district, local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Provide technical assistance, resources, and ongoing support to program staff and families.
  • Coordinate with external customers to develop programs, resolve issues, and maintain services.

  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date records and documents.
  • Participates in meetings, workshops, and trainings to receive and convey information.
  • Prepares written materials to document activities and convey information.

  • Provides training and technical assistance to support the facilitation of action plans and key strategies.
  • Responds to inquiries to resolve problems and provide information.

Minimum Qualifications
  • AA Degree or higher in ECE or coursework in Early Childhood Education.
  • Experience as a home visitor and/or ECE teacher and/or group socialization lead with children birth to 5 years.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with pregnant families and/or families with children birth to 3 years.
  • Experience working with low-income families.
  • Bilingual ability in Spanish and/or experience working with interpreters.
  • Experience with Head Start/Early Head Start/ECEAP.
