Job Title: Hospice Spiritual Care Provider
About the Role:
PruittHealth is seeking a compassionate and skilled Hospice Spiritual Care Provider to join our team. This role is responsible for providing spiritual support and care to patients and families in their end-of-life journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide spiritual services to patients and families, respecting their beliefs and values.
- Assess and address the spiritual needs of patients and families through direct communication and collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Develop and implement personalized spiritual care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient and family.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients and families.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices in hospice care and spiritual support.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient interactions and care plans.
Requirements:
- Master's degree from an accredited theological school or seminary.
- 1-4 units in Clinical Pastoral Education from a nationally recognized provider.
- Two years of ministerial experience with appropriate endorsement within their denomination.
- Previous training and/or experience in death and loss issues.
- Current Driver's License and Automobile Liability Insurance.
Salary Estimate: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
