Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Technician Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Systems Application & Technologies Inc. as a Radar Systems Maintenance Expert. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex electronic equipment, including radar systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex electronic equipment, including radar systems, to ensure optimal performance.
  • Operate and maintain computer-controlled instrumentation, analog, and digital interface equipment.
  • Utilize knowledge of various types of test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, power meters, and frequency counters.
  • Interface with military and civilian test customers to ensure mission success.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including safety, security, PIPR, and TMDE.
Requirements
  • Associates degree in electronics or a related field, or equivalent military technical training, and a minimum of three years' experience in the listed duties.
  • Well-rounded experience with radar systems, including transmitters, receivers, and servo systems.
  • Good working knowledge of troubleshooting, repair, alignment, and operation concepts for complex electronic equipment.
  • Understanding of computer-controlled instrumentation, analog, and digital interface equipment.
  • Operational knowledge of various types of test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, power meters, and frequency counters.
  • Current Driver's License required; must be able to be insured through company's vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of employment.
  • U.S. Citizenship required and must be able to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Secret Clearance prior to hire date and maintain a Secret clearance throughout employment.
  • All candidates will be required to pass background screening to include SSN, Driver Record, and Criminal Background Investigation.
