Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to residents.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
  • Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and home care strategies.

Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a physical therapist.
  • Previous experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred.
  • Membership in the American Physical Therapy Association is a plus.
  • Strong professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Excellent administrative and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of physical therapy principles, methods, and equipment.
  • Awareness of patient safety protocols and risk management.
  • Ability to foster positive relationships with patients and healthcare staff.
  • Capability to interpret and implement physician directives effectively.
  • Emotional resilience to manage the demands of patient care.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
  • Familiarity with Medicare and third-party reimbursement processes is preferred.
