Job Summary
We are seeking skilled pediatric physical therapists and assistants to join our team. As a pediatric physical therapist or assistant, you will have the opportunity to work with children and their families to help them overcome physical challenges and achieve their goals. You will be responsible for conducting physical examinations, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy services to children in their natural environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical examinations to diagnose the source of children's movement difficulties
- Develop and implement treatment plans to help children learn to move their bodies correctly, alleviate pain, and increase the functions of injured body parts
- Provide therapy services to children in their natural environment, including their homes, schools, and daycares
- Collaborate with children and their families to teach them about safety and home exercises
Requirements
- Ability to work long hours, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to handle stress and pressure
- Attention to detail, patience, and empathy
- Manual dexterity and physical endurance to lift patients and heavy equipment
