This position is categorized as Remote. Remote employees do not have a fixed corporate office and work from a location of their choice, which must be disclosed to the Company. U.S. employees may reside in any of the 50 states, with certain exceptions. In specific states, the standard base pay range for this role is $37.50 per hour. This pay range is applicable to select states and may differ in other locations. Alongside a competitive base salary, this role is also eligible for equity awards based on experience, performance, and location, with actual amounts varying accordingly.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound and outbound communications for customers interested in selling and potentially purchasing homes.
  • Engage directly with sellers to understand their needs and propose solutions utilizing Zillow's services.
  • Assist customers in overcoming challenges through exceptional communication, ensuring a consultative experience.
  • Connect customers with appropriate Zillow products (such as local Premier Agent partners or cash offers) by understanding real estate dynamics and committing to a top-tier consumer experience.
  • Deliver an extraordinary customer experience, fostering relationships that create optimal conditions for transactions.
  • Promote accountability through proactive engagement with personal and team results, participating actively in discussions and initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to real estate norms, policies, and regulations at the highest level.
  • Possess a solid understanding of the real estate sector to accurately identify customer priorities and guide them to suitable offerings.
  • Demonstrate agility in navigating ambiguity and adapting to business changes.

Qualifications

  • Active real estate license(s) and/or willingness to obtain licensing in multiple states (up to five).
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
  • 1+ years of experience in sales or demand generation.
  • Comfortable conducting engaging and authentic sales calls, skilled in discovery and objection handling.
  • Able to convey recommendations to sellers that align with their needs while establishing trust in Zillow's offerings.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen actively and utilize objections as opportunities for further inquiry.
  • Integrity in interacting with third-party stakeholder information and processes.
  • Quick and adaptable learner.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen ability to identify opportunities that lead to customer success.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
