As an HRIS and IT Support Specialist, you will be pivotal in maintaining the efficiency of our HRIS applications and IT infrastructure. Collaborating closely with the Human Resources Director and IT Director, you will provide essential support for HRIS systems, manage various IT tasks, and facilitate smooth HR and IT functions. Key Responsibilities:

  • HRIS Management: Oversee the setup, customization, upkeep, and enhancements of the HRIS. Provide technical assistance and resolve user issues.
  • System Oversight: Manage user permissions, access levels, personalization, and create custom functionalities such as queries, filters, macros, and reports.
  • Data Analysis: Produce and compile detailed data reports and summaries for management and HR personnel. Handle surveys and related reporting tasks.
  • Vendor Relations: Serve as the primary liaison between HR information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS initiatives and implementation.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations. Stay informed about HRIS technology advancements.
  • IT Support: Assist with IT-related responsibilities, including equipment setup, onboarding processes, and managing HRIS-related support requests.
  • HR Assistance: Support employment processes, benefits management, and maintain compliance documentation within the HRIS.
  • Additional Duties: Carry out other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, with 1-2 years of administrative experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in the aforementioned fields, with 2-3 years of HR administrative support experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with HR/Payroll software systems (e.g., ADP, Ceridian, Kronos) is advantageous.
  • SHRM-CP, SPHR, or HRIS certifications are desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to organizational objectives and values.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
  • Current TB Clearance or TB X-Ray.
  • High school diploma or equivalent and/or official college transcripts.
  • If applicable, possession of a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and a clean driving record.
