Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician III

The Duckhorn Portfolio is a leading luxury wine company in North America, with a rich history dating back to 1976. We are currently seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician III to join our team at our state-of-the-art facility in Geyserville, CA.

Job Summary:

This is a Journeyman-level position that requires a high level of expertise in equipment and facilities maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of winery-related equipment, as well as assisting with winery, production, and facilities projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain winery machinery and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Respond promptly to production requests or equipment failures to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain effective communication with Production Manager, Winery Management, Quality Control, and Operations teams for daily repairs, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Conduct routine scheduled maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair equipment with an emphasis on uptime and overall efficiency.
  • Order, organize, and maintain parts inventory for spare and project-related needs.
  • Train entry-level maintenance, production, and production maintenance personnel on proper use and appropriate leveled repairs/adjustments for production equipment.
  • Execute work as defined on work orders, document work, and update equipment maintenance tracking files/records.
Requirements:
  • 8-10 years of experience in winery/facility maintenance-related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows-based programs, Internet, and Outlook.
  • Able to communicate effectively with co-workers and all levels of management in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to perform in a production environment and work with minimal supervision.
  • Class C driver's license required.
  • Mechanical, electrical, controls experience required.
  • Fabricate and machine parts as required.
  • Must have own tools.
