Job Title: Residential Program Coordinator

Estimated Salary: $16.70/Hour

Pinnacle Community Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Program Coordinator to join our team at Casey House Runaway and Homeless Youth Shelter.

About the Role:

The Residential Program Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting the daily operations of Casey House, ensuring the well-being and safety of youth in residence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintains a safe and comfortable environment for all youth in residence at all times.
  • Answers incoming telephone calls from the public, assesses crisis situations, and takes appropriate action in a polite and welcoming manner.
  • Conducts intakes as needed and ensures that all admission procedures are completed in a thorough and legible manner.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all client information, identity, and documentation.
  • Introduces and orients youth to all residential procedures, including HIV/AIDS precautions, child abuse recourse, fire safety, resident guidelines, and other assigned tasks as directed.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrates knowledge of the program, mission, and services of Pinnacle Community Services.
  • Attends and participates in appropriate Agency staff trainings and meetings.
  • Advocates for cultural diversity/sensitivity as appropriate.
  • Reports all suspected incidents of child abuse/neglect to NYS Hotline with supervisory notification.
  • Experience and knowledge on the use of computers, cell phones, and a broad understanding of using the Internet and e-mail in the workplace.
