Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Sales Representative to join our team at Protect Construction Supply Inc in Kent, WA. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with our diverse customer base, driving sales growth, and contributing to the company's overall success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Account Management: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly or quarterly sales targets, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products and services to customers.
  • Customer Engagement: Build trust and connections with customers through regular communication, site visits, and problem-solving, fostering long-term relationships and repeat business.
  • Market Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity, using this knowledge to identify new sales opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including operations, logistics, and marketing, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and effective communication with customers.

Requirements:

  • Industry Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in construction sales, preferably in the scaffolding, painting, flooring, or fireproofing sectors.
  • Sales Skills: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with a strong understanding of sales principles, negotiation techniques, and customer relationship management.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Education and Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications (e.g., CRM software, industry-specific training) preferred.
