Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Tile Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting our product line and gaining business from both retail clients and industry professionals. You must uphold our high standards of customer service and demonstrate professionalism at all times.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to educate clients on our products and provide appropriate suggestions and solutions. You will also be responsible for communicating company and manufacturer recommendations and warnings for product application and installation. A flexible work schedule is required, as well as the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Duties:
  • Greet and assist clients with selections and follow-through on their orders
  • Promote the Bedrosians product line
  • Gain knowledge of all current and new product lines
  • Develop relationships with industry professionals to increase business
  • Enter orders, follow-up on back-orders, invoice orders, and follow proper pick-up procedures
  • Maintain a neat and organized workspace
  • Assist with conducting inventory counts
  • Maintain showroom and sample department organization and presentation
  • Prepare and deliver bank deposits if required
  • Review order report daily
  • Meet monthly sales quotas
  • Multitask and prioritize work through effective time management
  • Work cooperatively in team environment
  • Participate in weekly branch meetings
  • Write thank-you notes to clients
  • Upsell clients when possible
  • Focus on increasing sales to meet branch sales plan
